Since the old Saracen tradition, Sicily has been among the most famous Areas that produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, there are two large areas, where this product is of the highest quality. The green hills located at the feet of the "Monti Iblei" is one of this areas , whose height goes from 300 to 600 m. above sea level: here is situated Chiaramonte Gulfi.

Here people still follow the old craftsmen extractive process. Thanks to this, to the territory's climatic attitude for olive growing, and to the traditional "Cultivar" (the "Tonda Iblea" or "Citrale"), this region has recently obtained the "D.O.P. Monti Iblei" recognition.

"EUROCANTINA" is located in this area of low hills in Chiaramonte Gulfi's township. The company manages to produce a traditional Extra Virgin Olive Oil, whose cultivation and fruit process characteristics can be defined as "Typical".
